Job Description

We are actively looking for Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join a well-established and reputable company near Charleston, SC to perform a mix of shop and field service repair work!

Mechanics will be provided with a take-home service truck (after successful completion of probation)!

Mechanics will perform maintenance and repairs to Construction/Earth Moving Equipment, Cranes, and other equipment/vehicles.

** Occasional out of state travel may be required for certain projects - all expenses covered! **

Job Requirements:

• At least 2+ recent years of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy construction equipment including Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Forklifts, Cranes, and other related equipment.
• Hydraulic & Electrical system maintenance, component replacement, and repair experience.
• Diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience.
• Experience utilizing OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot faults.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Mechanics with Technical School Degrees, A.S.E. certifications, OEM, NCCCO, and/or OSHA Inspection certifications are preferred, but not required. 

Compensation:

• Up to $35.00/hour to start. Starting wage is dependent upon previous industry experience (training, certifications, technical school, etc.).
• A take-home service truck (after completing probation).

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
• Plenty of OT - available after 40 hours.
• Occasional/Optional Saturday Shifts
