Mechanics from across Canada are encouraged to apply to live in this quiet and serene environment. Technicians will be working in the field performing repairs and maintenance to open pit mining equipment. Experience repairing loaders, haul trucks, shovels, graders, and dozers will be given preference. Computer diagnostic troubleshooting, running repair experience, electrical system repair, hydraulic repair, and Diesel Engine diagnostics are all major assets and preferred experience. This is an opportunity to work with the largest heavy equipment in the world with a very stable company that can offer long term employment. Growth and company advancement is offered alongside several lucrative bonuses available to all Mechanics. Candidates selected for interview will be flown to the Elkford area to visit the mine site and town, all costs covered.
Applicants must have 'Off-Road' or 'On-Road' Heavy Equipment Red Seal certification and a full set of tools.
4 days on, 4 days off (shift work rotation), comprising of two 12-hour day shifts, 24-hour shortchange, followed by two 12-hour night shifts, followed by four consecutive days off. Overtime available.
