We have a great new opportunity for Diesel Technician’s to join a well-established Construction outfit in Troy, MI. Servicing a large fleet of Trucks, Trailers and Heavy Duty Specialty Equipment.
Heavy Equipment Mechanics will preform preventative maintenance services, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general repairs to a large fleet of Mack, Peterbilt, and Ford Trucks, Trailers, Painter Trucks, Groovers, Grinders and Specialty Paving Equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experienced Diesel Mechanics both in the Shop & Field.
Successful Diesel Technicians bring:
- 2+ Years experience servicing Diesel Trucks & Equipment
- Ability to meet over-time requirements
- Proficiency electrical & hydraulic repairs, fabrication experience is a strong asset
- Own tools
- Chauffeurs License or CDL Preferred, with a clean driving record
Shifts: flexible schedule 6 days a week. Afternoon shift typically from 3 - 12 Hours are subject to vary depending on Construction season. Technicians must be flexible to meet Overtime requirements typically 6 - 15 hours of OT/ week. OT paid out after 40 hours.
$23.00 - $28.00/hour. Starting wage range and $1-$2/hour shift premium based on previous experience and training. Comprehensive benefits available after 90 days, including Health Care, Dental, Optical, 401K Plan and Uniforms Provided.
