Job Description
There is an exciting new opportunity for skilled Mechanics to join a well established and busy repair facility in Peterborough, ON. This is primarily a shop position working on various types/brands of forklifts.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as a Forklift Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or Automotive Mechanic.
- Understanding of forklift electrical systems and batteries is an asset.
- Good knowledge of propane and diesel engines, hydraulics and related mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and own set of tools.
Shifts
Day shift, 7:30AM to 4:00PM (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Compensation
$32.00 to $35.00/hour. Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, boot and tool allowance, and RRSP matching program.
