A well-established transportation service provider is immediately hiring an experienced Service Manager to lead a skilled team at their busy and rapidly expanding shop in Missoula, MT.

  

The Heavy Truck Service Manager will effectively manage and coordinate training for a team of diesel technicians and work flow while developing, communicating, enforcing, and monitoring Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining strong relations with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.  The Diesel Service Manager will also be responsible for developing business with existing and new customers, handling invoices & warranties, fostering a safe work environment, and provide frequent progress reports in order to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency.

 

SERVICE MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years supervisory or management experience preferably from a dealership environment
  • Previous bumper to bumper service, repair, and maintenance experience on a variety of class 7/8 trucks and/or buses
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong business acumen, and proficiency with computer software programs
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.  Those with a CDL license will be given preference.

 

The successful Service Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Drug Screen, Background Check, and Motor Vehicle Record Check).

 

Shifts

Days, 7:30am – 5:00pm (Monday-Friday).  

 

 

 

 

Compensation

$65,000 - $75,000/year + Monthly Incentives. Comprehensive Benefits available after one month (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K) + PTO (Holidays, Vacation) + Cell Phone Allowance.
