Just finished a new blog post concerning organizing and running a shop efficiently. If anyone has any feedback please share it here. The article is on one particular fleet contractor who did a study on saving time in their maintenance facilities. They actually decreased the number of steps a tech takes (2,200) by improving accessibility to tools and fluids. https://www.mechanicshub.com/Blogs/school-bus-mechanic/general_1/school-bus-fleet-time-management.html . It's no wonder they went to all this research since they have 52,000 school buses contracted out.

Great article. A clean and organized shop is the foundation of a good shop efficiency. I also stress to my guys how important keeping their box organized is as well.
