We've come a long way in our transportation technology! Too bad these weren't in a musuem where they would be viewed up close, but I suspect these were probably privately owned. Reminds me of the Deer Lodge Auto Musuem in Western Montana. Very neat! Thanks for sharing.

Nice Pics Tool Chick,
I remember my apprenticeship days when I had to do my first tune up on the Model A .....Just Kidding :) It's hard to visualize vehicles made out of wood.
Trivia stuff: In Highpoint North Carolina back in the early days of Thomas Buses they hired very skilled finishing carpenters to work in the factory. If you ever go to Highpoint you will notice a lot of furniture stores selling high end (handmade) furniture. This developed after vehicle manufacturing went to steel frames and bodies.
