Hey Guys, We had an 09 Thomas C2 Bus in the shop today for an alignment and the steering wheel was way off. But when we pulled the cover off of it we saw the typical nut to remove but no holes for the bolts on the puller to go through. Thought it might be like the volvos and pulled the spline out of the steering box but no such luck there, even the slip joint was master spined. We tried everything we could think of but couldn't make it work.

Just wondering if maybe there is a special tool that Freightliner has to pull the wheel off. I did see an odd opening at the top of the wheel that could maybe work with some specialized puller. Not too sure.

If anyone has any information on the subject I'd like to here it.
