The Tallmadge Civil Service Commission will give a test for the position of Garage Mechanic for the City of Tallmadge Public Service Department.
Test Date: June 5, 2024
Test Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Tallmadge Municipal Building, 46 North Avenue
Application Fee: A $20 application fee is payable in cash or Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express in the Payment Center at the Tallmadge Municipal Building lower level. Payment can be made over the phone by calling the Civil Service Office at 330-633-5011. Checks are not acceptable. Application fee is non-refundable.
An application along with the receipt as proof of payment will be accepted in the Civil Service office at 46 North Avenue.
Deadline to file an application is set at 12:00 noon May 30, 2024
An application will not be accepted after the deadline – no exceptions.
An application that is mailed must be received by the deadline along with proof of payment, regardless of the postmark.
After submitting your application with your receipt, there will be no further notification.
Calculators permitted during the test. You must provide your own calculator. The use of a cell phone for any purposes during the test is prohibited. 5% Veteran’s Preference: A copy of your DD214 with anything other than Dishonorable (DD) in block 24 of the DD214 must accompany your application.
