Upstate Equipment is a veteran-owned and operated, 2nd-generation family business. In 1998, John Freundschuh and his wife, Sara, purchased Bobcat of Buffalo, relocating from Rochester to Buffalo, NY. John had been employed as a salesman at a Rochester, NY dealership for 12 years prior to purchasing his own business in WNY. His dream of a family-owned and operated business lives on in his sons and daughters, each having grown up in the dealership. While John passed in January 2010, his legacy, work ethic and life’s passion continue on in the hands of his children.
