Job Description

An established heavy civil construction and materials company is looking for a Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join their team in Sudbury, ON. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large, well-equipped shop maintaining a fleet of ready-mix trucks, highway tractors, and construction equipment. Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician
• Strong diagnostic and repair experience on Class 6–8 trucks
• Comfortable performing preventative maintenance, annual safety inspections, and running repairs
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative shop team

Assets:

• Experience working on heavy equipment
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Previous experience with Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, or ready-mix trucks

Compensation & Benefits

Wage:

• Up to $62.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Hours

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime:

• Regular overtime available during the busy summer season
• Summer afternoon shift opportunities as business demands
• On-call rotation includes 4 hours of pay even if not called out, with working hours paid in addition if required
• Occasional weekend overtime available on a volunteer basis

Work Environment

• Large, modern maintenance facility
• Five full-length service bays and three drive-through bays
• Bridge crane and light-duty hoist
• Specialized OEM diagnostic laptops and software
• Approximately 90% shop work with occasional field service as required
• Work on a fleet including ready-mix trucks, Class 6–8 highway trucks, and construction equipment
