Job Description

Agriculture Equipment Technician is needed to repair and maintain a farms daily equipment in Scottsville, NY. In this role, you'll work on a diverse range of AG equipment, including combines, planters, and other implements. We're seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Heavy Equipment with preference given to those with AG Equipment experience.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break.
• Saturdays available - Enforced during the harvest season  (October 1st - December 1st) - Pending weather conditions 
• OT available after 52 hours/week

This role requires a technician with a passion for the trade who is open to working on a wide variety of equipment and is comfortable working independently. This role requires some travel in company vehicle to the city to work on snow plow or equipment in a field setting. The successful candidate will also be required to operate forklifts and other machinery for loading/unloading, moving equipment in and out of the shop/wash bay, as well as helping out when required. In addition, there is also a responsibility to assist in the maintenance grain storage facilities and other farm facility maintenance. 

Preference will be given to Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians, but candidates with 3+ years of experience repairing and operating Heavy Equipment will be considered for this role. Must be comfortable with working at heights up to 120 feet as well as lifting up to 60 pounds.
