
Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Maintain service records and ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards.
- Support field crews by minimizing equipment downtime and handling urgent repairs.
- Communicate with operations to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
Requirements:

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a drug screen.
- Strong safety mindset, teamwork attitude, and time management skills.

Shifts
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week, with overtime available based on workload
- Minimal travel; home in the evenings
Compensation

$22/hr – $38/hr to start, based on experience, certifications, and training.
