Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor to major repairs on diesel trucks, tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and regular service to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
- Diagnose diesel engine, electrical, mechanical, and related truck and trailer issues.
- Use diagnostic tools, software, and troubleshooting procedures to identify problems and confirm repairs.
- Complete aluminum welding, fabrication, and truck or trailer repair work as needed.
- Maintain accurate repair records, support daily fleet maintenance priorities, and follow safe shop practices.
Requirements
- Required:

- Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or similar fleet equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, truck and trailer systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Aluminum welding and fabrication experience required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently in a fast-paced fleet environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must provide basic personal hand tools; specialty and larger tools are provided.
- Must pass pre-employment screening, including a drug test and background check.

Compensation
- $23.00 – $28.00/hour starting pay based on experience
- Weekly pay with time and a half for overtime
