Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including chassis, electrical, and suspension components to ensure safety and reliability.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Perform light-duty PMVI safeties and wheel alignments on vehicles up to 8,900 kgs GVWR.
- Road test vehicles before and after repairs to confirm proper operation.
- Complete tire repairs, changeovers, and small engine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain and repair shop tools, service trucks, and equipment.
- Assist apprentices and foster a safety-focused work environment.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards.
- Accurately document time, parts, and repairs.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the service manager.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of automotive or light-duty truck repair experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Safety certificate up to 8,900 kgs (support provided to obtain if not currently held).
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic processes.
- Own tools and CSA-approved safety boots.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Positive attitude and respect for company and client property.

Compensation
- $21 to $22/hr based on experience.
