Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, inspections, and filter replacements.
• Repair and replace lights, tires, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including charging, starting, and lighting circuits.
• Perform DOT inspections and help keep trucks and trailers compliant with state and federal safety standards.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and maintenance records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while communicating repair needs with supervisors.

Requirements

• Required:

• • 2+ years of relevant diesel repair experience, ideally maintaining or repairing trucks, trailers, dump trucks, lowboys, step decks, or similar fleet equipment.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, brake, tire, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot truck and trailer electrical systems, including charging, starting, and lighting circuits.
  • Familiarity with DOT inspections, fleet safety standards, and repair documentation.
  • Dependable work habits, safe repair practices, and the ability to keep a clean, organized work area.
  • Ability to communicate equipment needs and repair recommendations with supervisors.
