A long-established commercial truck dealership in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician for on-site medium- and heavy-duty truck repairs. Ideal candidates bring mobile diesel experience, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks at customer locations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and routine service, including oil changes, battery replacements, and lubrication.
• Perform vehicle inspections, complete DVIR documentation, and address emergency breakdowns on-site.
• Test-drive vehicles to diagnose problems and verify proper operation following repairs.
• Coordinate with the service desk, maintain accurate work orders, and follow applicable warranty and vendor guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of hands-on mobile diesel mechanic and diagnostic experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel- and gasoline-powered vehicle systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and personal tools required.
• Working knowledge of computers and maintenance software applications.
• Ability to work independently, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Availability to work evening or overnight shifts, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Preferred:

• Previous mobile service experience with medium- or heavy-duty commercial trucks.
