Duties & Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair transit vehicles including MCIs, trolleys, cutaways, and vans.

Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, overhauls, and scheduled repairs.

Ensure vehicles are safe, mechanically sound, and road-ready.

Respond to road calls and perform field diagnostics and repairs.

Complete work orders efficiently while following safety policies and keeping the work area clean.

Use diagnostic tools and software; comply with DOT regulations and internal safety protocols.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

3–5 years of diesel maintenance and diagnostics experience (or equivalent education/experience).

At least 21 years of age.

CDL or ability to obtain a Class B CDL permit within 90 days (training support provided).

Basic computer skills and a strong record of reliability and attendance.

Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and physical strength assessment.

Compensation

$22.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience, certifications, and training).
