Job Description
A well-established and reputable fleet services company is hiring a Body Shop Manager / Estimator to lead their Heavy-Duty Diesel Body & Collision Shop near Upper Chester, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands day-to-day shop operations and is comfortable working on the floor to keep repairs moving efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; overseeing body, paint, and collision shop operations, scheduling and managing repair workflow from intake through completion, writing and managing estimates and supplements, and ensuring repairs meet quality and safety standards. The Manager will lead and support technicians, assist with training and coverage when needed, communicate clearly with customers regarding scope, cost, and timelines, and track basic shop performance metrics such as cycle time and labor hours while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop.
Requirements:
- 35+ years of experience in a body shop environment (heavy-duty preferred)
- Experience writing estimates and managing repair jobs
- Strong understanding of body, paint, and collision repair processes
- Ability to lead technicians and manage daily shop operations
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to step in when required
- Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills
- Existing customer contacts/business development experience is a plus
- Previous leadership experience
Compensation:
- $100,000 $130,000/year, depending on previous experience.

Shifts
Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday).
Compensation
$75,000 – $85,000/year. Starting wages will depend on previous experience.
