A Massachusetts-based mobile equipment repair company is hiring a Field Service Mechanic in Boston, MA to service heavy trucks, refuse trucks, and equipment. Ideal candidates work independently with strong diagnostics. Apply now for paid travel time and a take-home service truck.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy trucks, refuse trucks, and heavy equipment in the field.
• Service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and related components.
• Complete mobile repair calls safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.
• Travel to service locations across areas north and south of Boston.
• Use a take-home service truck to support road service and field repair work.
• Document completed repairs and communicate service needs clearly.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Experience as a field service mechanic, road mechanic, diesel mechanic, heavy truck mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills for mobile service environments.
  • Ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently on heavy trucks and equipment.
