Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair suspension systems, including leaf springs, coil springs, air springs, and helper springs.
• Perform front-end rebuilds, wheel alignments, and steering, drive axle, and trailer axle alignment work.
• Repair air and hydraulic brake systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Complete frame repairs, straightening, and structural modifications including lengthening and shortening.
• Weld and fabricate custom parts and components for truck and trailer repairs.
• Inspect steering and axle systems, document repair findings, and communicate service needs to supervisors.

Requirements

• Required:

• • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty truck mechanic, suspension mechanic, or closely related role.
  • Strong skills in suspension repair, brake systems, alignments, and welding/fabrication.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and complete structural and chassis-related repairs.
  • Must provide own tools and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work full-time in a shop environment.

• Preferred:

• • CDL Class A or Class B.
  • Experience operating frame straightening and alignment equipment.
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance for commercial vehicles.
