Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, including skidders, grinders, loaders, and excavators.
- Handle hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, brake and clutch repairs, cylinder rebuilds, and light fabrication work.
- Supervise shop staff, assign tasks, and ensure repair quality and safety compliance.
- Schedule, prioritize, and perform preventative maintenance for optimal fleet uptime.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection logs, and parts inventory.
- Communicate repair needs with field crews, dispatch, and operations managers.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:

Required:
- 5+ years of experience working on diesel equipment, heavy machinery, and fleet vehicles.
- Previous experience as a shop foreman, lead mechanic, or fleet maintenance technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable, organized, and committed to high-quality work.

- CDL license.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools/software.
- Spanish language skills.

Shifts

Full-time Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Flexible start times available after probationary period.
- Overtime available and paid after 40 hours per week.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required based on workload.
- Weekly pay schedule.
Compensation

Up to $52/hr to start (based on experience, certifications, and skill level).
