Job Description

We are seeking both a Senior & Master Level Diesel Mechanic in Bridgeton, MO, to support a growing truck fleet. This role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, providing an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians to lead, mentor, and grow their careers in a professional and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance and standard repairs.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
• Complete advanced repairs, including major engine work, diesel aftertreatment, and fuel injection repairs, with minimal supervision.
• Provide remote triage for roadside breakdowns, determining the best solutions in collaboration with customers and the RCRC team.
• Instruct and advise other technicians on repair procedures and diagnostics.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians (Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels), fostering skill development and team cohesion.
• Access and utilize internal and external maintenance documents effectively.
• Maintain accurate records in the Shop Management System, ensuring compliance with safety, DOT, and MOT regulations.
• Complete OEM online diagnostic courses and instructor-led training within 365 days.
• Perform facility maintenance duties and provide support for operations as needed, including Service Island duties.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, and aftertreatment systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Vocational or Technical Certification is a plus.
• ASE certifications in PM, brakes, A/C, electrical, or electronics preferred; ASE Master Mechanic Certification highly desirable.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within six months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Proficiency in operating shop computers, diagnostic equipment, and related software.
• Must meet minimum tool requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check, including drug and alcohol verification from the last three years.
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and repair skills, with the ability to work unsupervised on complex tasks.
• Must road test vehicles as necessary to ensure quality of repairs.
