A well-established automotive repair operation is hiring an Automotive Technician in Bristol, PA, to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a full-service shop environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using scan tools, testing procedures, and technical service information; confirm repairs with road tests.
- Perform repairs across engines, transmissions, steering/suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Complete routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and required inspections while ensuring repairs meet manufacturer standards.
- Accurately document findings, parts, and labor for repair orders and warranty claims; communicate recommendations clearly.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment while supporting shop goals.
Requirements
- Required

- High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automotive systems using computerized diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Ability to complete maintenance through major repairs involving brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, and drivability systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, estimates, and manufacturer specifications.
- Strong communication skills, professional conduct, and a customer-service mindset.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to road test vehicles.
- Ability to pass an MVR review, background check, and drug screening.
- Physically capable of heavy work, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Shifts

Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Additional hours may be required based on workload and business needs.

Compensation

$70,000 – $125,000 annual compensation based on experience, certifications, and skill level ($33–$60/hr equivalent).
