A well-established commercial fleet repair shop in Burlington Township, NJ is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair school buses, municipal vehicles, and Class 2–5 vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on school buses, municipal vehicles, and Class 2–5 vehicles, including aerial lift trucks.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and other mechanical vehicle systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical system faults and complete necessary repairs.
• Diagnose and repair diesel exhaust aftertreatment systems.
• Complete DOT and school bus service sheets, accurately documenting maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment throughout daily shop operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in automotive or diesel vehicle repair.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on vehicles and related mechanical systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and diesel aftertreatment systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot a variety of vehicle systems.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Ability to commute to Burlington Township, NJ.
• Must complete a pre-employment driving record screening.

Preferred:

• 1+ year of diesel engine repair experience.
• 1+ year of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
