Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Memphis, TN, as a Bus Dismantler Mechanic. Ideal technicians should be familiar with diagnostic tools and have experience in automotive or diesel mechanics. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with bus dismantling, ensuring efficiency and quality at every step.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dismantle a minimum of six (6) buses per week as per productivity standards.
- Utilize Noregon laptop for engine and transmission diagnostics.
- Remove specific parts based on work orders and inspect all parts for quality control.
- Label and tag removed parts accurately, storing them properly in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records in the computer system regarding vehicle status, location, and parts inventory.
- Remove wheels and tires, and clean work area thoroughly after each dismantling session.
- Provide assistance to both external and internal customers as needed.
- Operate welding equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational or Technical certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Must obtain or already possess a Forklift operating license.

Compensation
- $22 – $25/hr based on experience.
