Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and fleet equipment, including air brakes, electrical, mechanical, and related systems.
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, brake inspections, component replacement, tire service, and drivability issues.
- Conduct DOT/FHWA and required inspections, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
- Respond to roadside service calls efficiently and communicate repair status with drivers and fleet contacts.
- Complete repair orders, PM records, inspection forms, and log sheets accurately.
- Maintain the service truck, including cleanliness, inspections, basic upkeep, and reporting needed repairs.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and motor vehicle laws while supporting team and operational goals.
Requirements
- Required

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered equipment in a mobile or shop environment.
- Strong working knowledge of air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform repairs in the field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
- Professional communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Valid driver’s license, valid medical card, and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and MVR review.
- Physically capable of heavy work, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally and working outdoors in all weather.

Shifts

Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Additional hours may be required based on business and road service needs.

Compensation

$100,000 – $125,000 annual compensation based on experience, certifications, and skill level.
