Job Description

We are actively seeking a Crane Technician - Field Service to join a well-established employer for their growing company in Des Moines, Iowa!

If you are familiar with working on cranes, Tracked, rough terrain and truck mounted, small or large, please contact us. Technicians with Heavy Excavator experience are also welcome to apply. As a Field Service tech, you will come with experience working on CAN bus and with schematics (Hydraulic and Electrical). Shop technicians with the requisite experience looking for a new challenge are also welcome to apply! 

Field service technicians will be required for overnight trips during the week. As many as 3-4 nights per week. Weekends are at home with a rare call out. Food and lodging are paid for.

Job Requirements:

• Technicians with 2+ years of experience working on Heavy Equipment with a focus on Cranes and Excavators.
• Technicians with the ability to assess, inspect, and troubleshoot faulty machinery.
• Technicians with CAN bus experience are required.
• Technicians with the ability to remove, rebuild, and install hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Willing to take factory training online and onsite.

Compensation:

• $28.00 – $41.00/hour to Start, depending on previous experience/training/certifications.
• OT is readily available and paid out after 40 hours per week.

Shifts:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday.

Any Mechanic or Technician with hydraulic, electrical and/or industrial repair experience is sought after!
