Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions across various vehicle systems.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections to meet DOT requirements, addressing any issues to ensure compliance.
  • Perform road calls for on-site minor repairs and deliver vehicles between branch locations as needed.
  • Handle repairs from drive trains to hydraulic systems, including minor body parts like doors and landing gear.
  • Maintain and repair company forklifts and execute parts orders through the parts room.
  • Follow stringent safety practices and company regulations, immediately addressing or reporting potential hazards.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; Automotive/Mechanical Trade or Vocational certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Diesel/Automotive Technician; military experience may be considered.
  • Must possess 3+ ASE certifications and demonstrate strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a record within MVR policy guidelines and the ability to operate manual and standard transmissions.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 100lbs, frequent climbing, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering equipment.
  • Required to obtain and maintain Class C or A-CDL and a medical card.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate safely in high-noise environments.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a drug test and background check.
  • Travel within the our service territories is required, and candidates must be able to handle equipment safely in tight spaces.

Compensation

  • $22.00 – $32/Hour to start, based on previous experience/certifications/training + Quarterly Performance incentive bonus!
