A well-established Diesel repair facility is looking to hire a Travelling Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Burlington, IA. In business for 35 years, this company provides mechanics an opportunity to widen their skillset within the Diesel Engine sector of the Diesel Industry!

We're searching for Diesel Engine Technicians with the following experience:

• 2+ years of recent experience repairing, maintaining or rebuilding diesel engines from Transportation, Equipment, Industrial, Marine, and/or Power Gen industries. 
• Maintaining and repairing diesel engines with both common rail and mechanical fuel systems
• Previous experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines from EMD, CAT and/or Cummins.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engines, and determine root causes of faults.
• Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintaining and repairing fuel systems.
• Preference will be given to those with Electrical Generator Experience 

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour to start, Negotiable based on previous experience/certifications/training.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday – Friday. 
• OT when needed, paid after 40 hours.
