Job Description

A well-established company is seeking Diesel Engine Technicians to join their field service team in Winnipeg, MB! 

Technicians will be responsible for performing PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance to mechanical and electrical systems on generators, mobile and stationary engines. 

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman Certification 5 years plus experience will be given preference
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working on diesel, propane, and/or natural gas generators is required.
• Experience with automatic transfer switches (ATS) will be given preference.
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred.
• Advanced diesel engine diagnostics, and rebuild/overhaul experience is preferred.
• Mechanics with a strong background with electrical and fuel systems will be given preference.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required.
• Owns a set of tools.

Offering:

• $40.00 - $45.00/hour to start. Starting wage is dependent on previous experience, training, and/or certifications.
• Take home service truck with gas card, company cell phone, and company laptop computer.
• OT after 8 hours, Double OT after 12 hours

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday.

Mechanics must have their own hand tools, as well as be required to submit to background, drug/physical, and MVI history check prior to successful employment.
