Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to add a Road Service Diesel Technician to their team near Niles, MI. 

Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for performing inspections, services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks using company DOT and OSHA guidelines to ensure all heavy trucks are operating safely and efficiently. 

Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck repair experience.
• Previous experience using diagnostic software is preferred 
• Previous experience and/or working knowledge of DOT inspections.
• A CDL, DOT as well as Brake and Forklift Certifications are preferred, but not required. 
• Own tools, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

Compensation:

• Up to $38.00/hour to start, based on previous experience/certifications/training
• 2 Weeks Vacation
• 6 Holidays

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:00AM – 4:30PM (Monday – Friday) 
• Overtime is available after 40 hours/week
