Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is urgently hiring an Experienced Truck Mechanic to join their growing team in the Bourne, MA area. Mechanics will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, services, and repairs on a variety of Light, Medium and HD Truck and Bus chassis.

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of suspension, brake, and air systems. Mechanics will diagnose, troubleshoot and make repairs, complete documents related to the service reports and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area. 

Requirements:

• 3+ Years as an experienced Truck Mechanic
• 2+ years of Diesel Engine Experience will be given preference
• Experience working on Commercial Trucks
• Experience with State Vehicle Inspections (This position requires passing the state commercial vehicle test for inspections)
• Experience diagnosing and repairing chassis electrical issues
• Self-motivated and able to work independently 
• Must enjoy a relaxed environment and take pride in your work 
• Able to demonstrate you are organized, responsible, independent, resourceful, and dynamic 
• Must possess own set of tools 

Shift Schedule:

Day Shift, Tuesday to Saturday

• No OT is Required 

Compensation:

• $35.00 – $40.00+/hour, depending on previous experience/training/certificates
• Billable Time Bonus
