Job Description
This position is ideal for a Red Seal certified technician or a 4th Year Apprentice with a Provincial Certificate who is experienced in diesel and gas engines including diagnostic work. The successful candidate will work alongside our team in a professional and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on diesel and gasoline vehicles
- Complete alignments, suspension, brakes, and driveline work
- Troubleshoot complex repairs and find practical solutions
- Support and mentor students during their shop placements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Maintain accurate records and follow processes and procedures
- Collaborate with the team
- Participate in training to stay current with technology and practices
Qualifications
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification or
4th Year Apprentice with valid Provincial Certificate - Alignment experience considered an asset but will train
- Diesel Engine experience considered an asset but will train
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
- Straight-time hourly pay plus bonus hours incentive
- $28.00-$42.00 per hour
