Job Description

This position is ideal for a Red Seal certified technician or a 4th Year Apprentice with a Provincial Certificate who is experienced in diesel and gas engines including diagnostic work. The successful candidate will work alongside our team in a professional and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on diesel and gasoline vehicles
• Complete alignments, suspension, brakes, and driveline work
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and find practical solutions
• Support and mentor students during their shop placements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Maintain accurate records and follow processes and procedures
• Collaborate with the team
• Participate in training to stay current with technology and practices

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification or
  4th Year Apprentice with valid Provincial Certificate
• Alignment experience considered an asset but will train
• Diesel Engine experience considered an asset but will train
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

• Straight-time hourly pay plus bonus hours incentive
• $28.00-$42.00 per hour
