Job Description

We are actively seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team West of South Bend, IN. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting inspections, PM services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Equipment and Trucks. Technicians will benefit from a strong company culture, professional work environment, and a great atmosphere. 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience with hands-on Heavy-Duty Truck diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s license & a good driving record (CDL will be given preference).
• Certification in brake repairs and annual inspections is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and devices.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read/understand manuals, catalogs, and diagrams.
• Strong commitment to customer service and communication, both internal and external.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Pride in workmanship, reliability, honesty, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $35.00/hour, dependent on previous experience.

Shift:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00am - 3:30pm (flexible start time).
• Opportunities for overtime after 40 hours.
