Job Description

We are actively seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join a small team that has a large Fleet of Trucks and Equipment in Custer County NE. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting inspections, PM services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Equipment and Trucks. Technicians will benefit from a strong company culture, professional work environment, and a great atmosphere. 

The Preferred candidate has a great attitude, willingness to work on a variety of trucks and equipment, and has the ability to think in first principles. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with hands-on Heavy-Duty Truck diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Preference will be given to those with 5+ years experience.
• Valid Driver’s license & a good driving record (CDL will be given preference).
• Experience in truck repairs and Paccar Engines is preferred.
• Knowledge of Civil Construction Equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and devices.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read/understand manuals, catalogs, and diagrams.
• Strong commitment to customer service and communication, both internal and external.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Pride in workmanship, reliability, honesty, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $50.00/hour, dependent on previous experience.

Shift:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00am - 5:00pm 
• Rotating Saturdays.
• Opportunities for overtime.
