Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a tight-knit team in Chicago Heights, IL. Work at a modern, clean shop facility. This is a shop role, which is outfitted with lift and specialty equipment to get the job done. You'll work with a stable customer base, modern diagnostic equipment, and a supportive leadership team that values trust and straightforward communication.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• 3+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining Diesel Trucks. 
• Proficiency with diagnostic software (Cummins Insight, Detroit Diagnostic Link, JPro, Davey, Davies, Allison Doc, Diesel Laptop Scanner).
• Strong electrical and after-treatment system knowledge as well as, know how to change and replace components. 
• Valid driver's license
• Own tools
• Physical fitness for the role

Nice-to-haves:
• Strong diagnostic capabilities will warrant top end of pay range. 
• Factory certifications.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $35 - $45/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Hours:

• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
• OT after 40 hours per week.
