Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drive trains, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Perform test drives to confirm repairs and address any issues.
- Secure required inspections and approvals for major repairs prior to vehicle release.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while adhering to all safety standards.
- Identify and report additional maintenance needs during repairs.
- Accurately log time, parts, and services for each repair or maintenance job.
- Respond to road calls to provide on-site repairs when needed.
- Collaborate with the Lead Technician to address unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Medium/Heavy truck repair, with expertise in diagnostics and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of diesel equipment, including AC systems and vehicle repairs.
- Ownership of recommended hand tools for the role.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred); ASE Certification is a plus with free training available.
- Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

Compensation
- $37 to $38/hr based on experience.
