Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Thornton, New Hampshire, as a Diesel Mechanic III. This vital role supports our Maintenance Department, ideal for techs with a mix of technical skills and a dedication to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Technicians with 1-3 years of truck or automotive repair experience and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems are encouraged to apply!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Maintenance Department and Technicians with tasks like vehicle washing, fueling, facility cleaning, and maintenance as per established schedules.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, reporting any unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor.
- Accurately document time and materials used for each task.
- Assist technical staff with automotive repair and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Inform the Lead Technician of any unsafe maintenance conditions, practices, or instances of vehicle abuse.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in truck or automotive repair.
- Possession of the minimum recommended hand tools for a Class III Mechanic.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant education, training, and experience.
- Prior fleet experience and familiarity with both diesel and gasoline systems are ideal.

Compensation
- $25 to $26/hr based on experience.
