A unique opportunity awaits! A Motor Coach transport company in Alaska is urgently seeking a Diesel Mechanic with Coach experience to join their shop in Anchorage AK. This will be a year round position, but you will only work from April until October.

Heavy Truck, Bus and Coach Mechanics with at least 5 years of coach experience performing diagnosis and repairs to Detroit Diesel Engines, Allison transmissions, Aftertreatment and Emissions Systems, Heat and AC systems, Multiplex Systems, and more should apply!

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Able to perform vehicle maintenance procedures and operation.
• Must have valid CDL License with ability to operate a bus.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic/electrical issues, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
• Exercise safety in all capacities 
• A good understanding of modern EPA 2017 diesel engines and exhaust gas processors including DEF injection, pneumatic braking systems including anti-lock, automatic gearboxes, multiplex electrics using J1939 protocol and the principles of electricity.

Compensation:

• Up to $90,000/yr to start

Shift Schedule:

This position has no set schedule. The expectation will be that the buses stay maintained and running
