Job Description

A successful repair and maintenance facility in Lexington OK has an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Technician to work on Trucks and Heavy Equipment.  Freightliner, Peterbilt and Kenworth are common Fleet Trucks requiring maintenance with various client brands as well.

This position will be performing regular maintenance and running repairs in the less than 10-year-old 8 Bay Shop.  Looking for candidates with good job stability in their career who have show they want to grow with the company.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience performing repairs on relevant diesel systems
• Knowledge and experience using diagnostic software's to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong verbal, documentation and time management skills
• Can work well with others
• Self Motivated

Responsibilities - Perform fleet repairs including but not limited to:

• Clutches, AC and DPF issues
• Preventative maintenances (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication)
• Diagnostics
• ABS and braking system repairs
• Welding considered an asset but not required.
• Hydraulic repairs

Mechanics must have a valid Drivers License and their own tools

Compensation:

• $40 - $47/hour. Starting wage based off of prior relevant work experience
• Uniform provided
• Medical/Dental/Vision (premiums are covered 50% by the company)
• 4 Paid Holidays per Year
• One week Paid vacation after 1 Year. An additional year of vacation provided after 5 years of service
• OT available based on approval but already have 2.5 hours weekly in schedule

Shifts (2 available):

• Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM/ OR Sunday to Thursday: 8:00PM – 5:00AM
• 42.5 hours minimum
