Job Description

A well-established company is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics for a Field Service opportunity to diagnose, service, and repair various types heavy trucks and diesel engines in the Ogden, Utah area. Overnight travel is required, up to 2-3 times per week.

The Ideal Diesel Mechanic Will Have:

• 4+ years experience diagnosing and repairing heavy duty trucks and diesel engines.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, Electrical, Aftertreatment issues, and troubleshooting Hydraulic as well as Engine and Drive systems
• Previous repair experience on Paccar engines will be given preference.
• Experience with diagnostic software (JPRO, Tech Tool, Cummins Insite, etc.).
• Hands on repair experience with Diesel Engines.
• Those with previous experience working on truck chassis systems and inspection experience is preferred
• Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. CDL Preferred
• Must have own tools

Compensation:

• $32.00 - $45.00/hour, based on previous experience/certifications/training

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Overtime available 
• Must be willing to accommodate overnight travel, up to 2-3 times per week.
