Job Description

We are actively seeking motivated and experienced Diesel Truck Technician to join a longstanding facility in Portland, CT. Mechanics will be proficient in the repair of Diesel Engines, air and hydraulic brake systems, suspension, electrical systems, air conditioning, front-end steering systems, and other general repair. Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working on Trucks
• Mechanics who have a strong background with A/C, alignments, Auxiliary Power systems, DPFs, drivetrains, electrical & lighting, PMs, suspensions, minor engine repairs
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines and diagnostics will be strongly preferred
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Service shop and Factory standards
• Valid drivers license (CDL is preferred)

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $45.00/hour to start, depending on skillset and previous experience.

Shift: 

• Day Shift, Monday - Thursday, 6:30AM - 4:30PM
• Fridays 6:30AM - 12:00PM
• No Nights, No Weekends
• OT after 40 Hours
