Job Description

We are actively seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to join a dealership in the northern part of Steuben County, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting inspections, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks. Technicians will benefit from a strong company culture, as well as professional work environment that fosters professional development. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with hands-on Heavy-Duty Truck diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Preference for those with 5+ years
• Valid Driver’s license & a good driving record (CDL will be given preference).
• Experience in diagnostics.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and devices.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read/understand manuals, catalogs, and diagrams.
• Strong commitment to customer service and communication, both internal and external.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Pride in workmanship, reliability, honesty, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Technicians must have their own tools.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $35.00/hour, dependent on previous experience.

Shift:

• Day Shift Monday – Friday - Occasional Saturdays
