Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
• Oversee daily operations of the repair shop, ensuring efficient scheduling and workflow.
• Supervise and support a team of technicians and shop staff.
• Maintain safety compliance and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to repair standards.
• Communicate with customers regarding diagnostics, repair plans, estimates, and timelines.
• Coordinate the use of four service bays and two truck wash bays for optimal efficiency.
• Assist with invoicing and completion of work orders as needed.

Requirements:

• Required:

  • Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyman or Red Seal).
  • 3+ years of experience repairing trucks or heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, with experience across diesel systems.
  • Prior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workflow efficiently in a busy service environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.

• Preferred:

  • Class 1 or 3 driver’s license.
  • Previous experience as a lead technician or shop foreman in a fleet or commercial truck repair setting.
