A busy commercial truck service center in Edmonton, AB, is hiring a part-time Service Administrator to support front desk operations and customer coordination. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Create, manage, and close work orders in the shop system.
• Handle invoicing, data entry, and maintain accurate records.
• Schedule repairs and coordinate timing with technicians.
• Order and track parts and shop supplies.
• Respond to basic service inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Support general office and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within a repair shop.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage scheduling in a busy environment.
  • Proficient with invoicing, data entry, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

• Preferred:

  • Previous experience in an automotive or truck repair environment.
  • Working knowledge of commercial truck parts and service processes.
  • Experience with shop systems such as Fullbay, Shopview, or AutoLeap is an asset.
