Job Description

A well-established company is seeking an experienced Engine Machinist to join their team in a well-equipped shop in Fremont, NE! The machinist will be responsible for precision machining work, including engine block and head resurfacing, cylinder boring, crankshaft grinding, and other essential engine machining tasks. The role involves working with a variety of diesel and gas engines in an organized and efficient environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an engine machine shop.
• Proficiency in using machining tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and honing machines.
• Strong background in engine block and cylinder head machining.
• Ability to perform detailed measurements with micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine components.
• A positive work attitude, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Owns a set of machinist tools (preferred but not required).

Offering:

• Wage: $30.00 - $40.00/hour, based on experience, training, and certifications.

Shifts:
Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. (Flexible)
