Job Description

Join a reputable service provider in the small equipment industry as an Equipment Service Technician. We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join a team in Bensenville, IL to work on customer and in house equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, diesel and gas powered equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements on trailered equipment.
• Utilize basic electrical knowledge (110/220 3 phase, DC 6-48 volts), controller knowledge, and multi-meter use.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to resolve issues efficiently.
• Previous mechanic industry experience from light duty, lift truck or generators applies!
• Use mechanical knowledge and testing equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Previous Auto, Medium Duty, forklift and gen set experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Good driving record (MVR check required).
• Background check and drug testing required.

Shift Schedule:

• Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
• No weekends.

Compensation:

• Starting wage: $25 - $40/hr (based on experience).
• Overtime pay available after 40 hours a week.
