Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to add 2 Fabrication Mechanics - Trucks for their Repair and Fabrication team in Wyoming, MI. 

Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for: Plumbing hydraulics, air systems, adding boxes. PTO's Pumps, wet kits and plumbing. Wiring electrical systems. Dash boards and switches. No engine, transmission work. All outfitting. Welding is not the critical aspect but it would be preferred. Need to be able to square things up and prep for a welder.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck repair experience
• At least 1+ years of Hydraulic Experience
• Preference will be given to those with fabrication experience
• Welding Machine Experience, Fit and Finish
• Previous experience with new installations of electrical and hydraulic components is preferred
• Must have own hand tools

Compensation:

• Up to $40.00/hour to start, based on previous experience/certifications/training
• 1 Week Vacation after 1 year
• 3 percent match 
• Yearly Boot Allowance

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 4X10 5:30 AM – 4:00PM (Monday – Thursday) 
• Half Day Fridays
• Overtime is available after 40 hours/week
