Job Description
A well-established company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bartlett, IL. Technicians will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of facility machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, plumbing, and low-voltage electrical issues.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

1-2 years of experience with packing or production machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
-
Compliance with safety rules and regulations, including participation in annual training

Flexibility to work weekends and other shifts as needed

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

Strong problem-solving skills and a positive work attitude
Responsibilities:
-
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on company equipment per work orders
-
Execute timely repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
-
Conduct routine maintenance around the facility, including plumbing repairs to prevent water damage

Troubleshoot and resolve low-voltage electrical issues
-
Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards
-
Maintain efficient housekeeping standards
-
Other duties as assigned
Compensation:
-
$25 - $38/hr based on experience and qualifications

Shifts:

Full-time, 3rd Shift Monday to Friday 10pm - 6am

PM OT is required, Paid at time and a half on Saturdays, Double time on Sundays
